I like the language - seems to be one off my common points but its true - if a poem doesn't speak to me, I couldn't - could I? You had me at Seasonal. There are parallels with my life and that off someone closest to me. An Ian Parks item I just read - Beach Hut - reminded me of my life similarly (except I couldn't afford that, there were changing tents at Calais beach but even diagonally they were cramped.

All that Jazz I suppose mucks around (pleasantly) with me as I play (not jazz but I do nick some chords n phrasing out of contempt, irony, and a perverse love of Weather Report, Barabara Thompson and Al Di Meola).

The executive is a beaut. I love tough women, though as a kid they scared me - once I understood them I had nothing but praise. I even enjoyed the Haiku, as so many are such dreadful flops - I think it's a good vehicle for humour, but emotion etc, it's not even syrup - it's like wet varnish and you curse putting your hand on it.

Thank you for some enjoyable poetry:)
